Installing Matriux Krypton on Hard Disk / Virtual Box

Download MATRIUX KRYPTON from here:

I will guide you through a series of steps that would help you installing matriux on your Hard Disk / Virtual Box.

If you are installing on Hard Disk Drive scroll down to the instructions from “Step 6. Follow these series of screenshots to install Matriux Krypton until I create a more brief tutorial and a video

Step1 :Start the virtual box and click on “New”  and select Operating System as “Linux” and Version as “Debian”

Step 2:Allocate the RAM memory for the Installation anything more than 256Mb is good enough

Step 3:Create a Virtual Hard Disk for the installation usually more than 6Gb is fine ( 8GB recommended). Select anything for the type of virtual hard disk.

Step 4:Allot the hard disk size and also the directory you want else go with the default

Step 5: After these steps start the Virtual machine, Since it is the first time it will prompt us so that a Disk Image (ISO image) can be mounted. Browse and locate the ISO image on your hard disk. ( the place where you downloaded Matriux Krypton)

Select Installation media to the ISO in your hard disk or DVD drive

This will start Matriux in Live mode

Enter password as “toor” and login

Step 6:Open up a terminal and type gparted to start the gparted interface

If it is a new unallocated partition then Device > Create Partition   ( else if it is a used disk space then skip the next step and go to formatting it)

Step 7:select the Disk space you want to install Matriux and click New

Click on “Add”

Click on the Tick mark highlighted in the screen shot below and check “Apply”
and close gparted now

Step 8: Now open a terminal and mount the partition we just created

Type the following in the terminal

mkdir /mnt/matriux

mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/matriux

Step 9:Close the terminal, Now start the Matriux Disk Installer from the desktop and It should be easy for you now, Its a simple 7 step process !! with few entries such as username passwords, locale …thats it!!!

Step 10:Select the installation partition

Step 11:Choose if you want to install grub

Choose the disc for grub

Step 12:Type the username and passwords for root and user

Step 13:Select the Locale you want ( Select en_US if you are not sure and prefer English)

Step 14:Confirm your settings and profile

The installer then proceeds for a few minutes of installing Matriux

Step 15:Congratulations you have now installed Matriux, reboot your system to boot into your new installation

Called a Token, this information can be backed up to an external storage medium. Once you have formatted you can import the Token and your Windows will be genuine again.

Here’s how to backup and then restore the activation status of Windows 7.



1. Download Advanced Token Manager from here, you can extract the zip file and then run the executable file.

2. Run advanced token manager, to begin backing up your token click on the Backup Activation button.

3. ** “If you get the Hidden Product Key Detected Pop Up” ** Just click yes to continue.

4. When the Back up finishes. You will see a folder called “Windows Activation Backup” in the same Location that you launched the token manager from, That contains the backup

5. Once you Re-install windows, run the advanced token manager, this time it will say Restore instead of Backup.

7. Once you click Restore you will be prompted to make sure you want to do this, click the next button to start the restoration

8. Once completed a success message will appear.

9. Check your validity in the System Settings, you should have the genuine badge back.

Windows 7

Windows Server 2011

Step 4: Right click the first one and hit ‘edit attribute.’ Now where it says ‘display:block;’ change that to ‘display: none;’

Now do the same to the second tag also, see I have already changed it to 'none'.

Now you’ll notice the page works as it would do when you’ve completed the survey.

How to Recover Files from a Crashed Computer Using Hirens BootCD

Hey guyz, have a crashed computer with personal or maybe important data in it. Forgot to backup and now want to recover it? This is a great way to recover files from a crashed computer I don’t like to use the dead word because a dead computer is a computer that does’t turn on. To recover the files you would need Hiren’s BootDisk this disk has tremendous amount of tools that we can use all in one disk.



Steps:
1. Download Hiren’s BootDisk.

2. Burn it onto a Disk.

3. Boot from Hiren’s BootDisk.

4. When you finally boot from the Hiren’s Disk, select Windows Mini XP. Is not going to install it just going to run a mini version of Windows XP.

5. When you get to the Desktop you can browse just like you would in any version of Windows. Go to My Computer.

6. Because we booted from the Disk the letters belonging to the Drives have changed. Try to Identify your drive by the name or size.

7. You can plug in an additional drive and it will be detected just like any Windows would and now you can copy and paste any files you need.

8. Or you can run a backup tool, one of the many tools that Hiren’s brings.

9. From the Desktop Click on HBCD Icon then click on programs then Backup from the drop down menu then FastCopy.

10. From the FastCopy options you can select a folder or a Hard Drive to be the source location.

11.As a Destination Dirctory you can select a Pen Drive or external Hard Drive.

Note: If you are Backing up the entire Hard Drive make sure that the Destination Directory drive is Bigger than the amount of spaced used on you source drive.
