24+ Indian websites hacked by An0nym0uz17

An0nym0uz17, an Indonesian hacker has hacked a number of Indian websites. The sites include various types of websites but none of them belong to the high-profile category. The websites were hacked to demand independence of Kashmir and Jammu.



A number of hackers are after Indian sites for the last few days. KhantastiC and 1337 hacked 37 Indian Government sites just yesterday.

These hacking events prove the weak website security existing in the Indian websites which is becoming a threat for their cyber world. More and more Indian sites are being hacked each day but no improvement can be seen in their security yet.

India and Bangladesh battle in CYBERWAR

Indishell is now after Bangladeshi sites. They had been hacking Pakistani sites for quite a long time and now it seems like they are after Bangladeshi sites too. This sudden attack on Bangladeshi sites has been triggered by a group so called, Bangladesh Black Hat Hackers or BBHH. This group has been protesting against recent BSF violence in the India-Bangladesh border zone and hacking a good number of Indian websites.


Ffe Ssxt Prince Indishell of Indishell gave a status in Facebook where he said- "After #0p Pottystan, thinking to start #0p BD against s0me lamers IIS DNN kids s0 called BBHH.. There was s0mething named PATIENCE in us & en0ugh they tested.. Now Team Indishell will sh0w what is called hacking.."

These messages surely proves that Indishell is going to start a cyber war against Bangladesh. As said, Ash3ll has already started attacking and 6 Bangladeshi websites have been hacked so far.

Indiashell Founder Lucky Arrested

Two Of the Core Members Of Team Indishell got arrested on 19 Feb 2012 in Hyderabad, India. The hacker who call themselves ÐärkwØlf HéllsÃngël and Code Breaker Ica (a.k.a Lucky) have been taken over to Bangalore for further legal processing. The CBI has been on prowl for Indian Hackers who had been involved in the India, Bangladesh Cyberwar. The Govt sites Of Bangladesh which were maintained from the PMO (Prime Minister's Office, Bangladesh) were hacked and defaced by unknown Indian hackers. The traces of I.P.'s from the Indian Giant ISP (VSNL) were found at the PMO of Bangladesh, which in turn led for the Investigations regarding this huge break in. The CBI officials with the help of Wipro. Corp. are tracing all the hackers involved in the crime on the request of Bangladesh Prime Minister's Staff. Earlier yesterday a press note was given by the hacker named Darkwolf (Another Core member of ICA) that they had no hand in the ongoing cyberwar between the countries India And Bangladesh. LuCky - The Founder Of Team Indishell and ÐärkwØlf HéllsÃngël who has been arrested at Hyderabad and depoted To Banglore by CBI has not given any note regarding the reason of the arrest of the Hackers.


Lets just hope that LuCky and his mate ÐärkwØlf HéllsÃngël are released on a positive note as soon as possible by the CBI, Banglore, India.

Microsoft India's website HACKED

Websites are a great way to popularize and advertise your product or whatever you are selling. But you have to take proper measures to protect your site otherwise you can get hacked. Apparently Microsoft India din't take the appropriate measures to protect their site and look where it has landed them.

Chinese hackers on Monday attacked Microsoft India's retail website and stole the usernames and passwords of its customers, forcing the company to shut it down temporarily. The online retail site "www.microsoftstore.co.in" deals with computers, computer software and consumer electronics.

Microsoft said the company was investigating the matter and has already sent guidelines to its customers. "We are diligently working to remedy the issue and keep our customers protected," the spokesperson said.

The website showed an error message: "The Microsoft Store India is currently unavailable. Microsoft is working to restore access as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused."

Evil Shadow, a Chinese hacking team that claimed responsibility for the attack, obscured the full username and passwords in the screen shots that were posted on a blog run by an Evil Shadow Team member 7z1. The hacker, 7z1, told Reuters that the data had been found unencrypted on the website.

Indian company Quasar Media, which operates the Indian edition of Microsoft Store, said that the company was investigating the issue. "I am not sure when the site will be up again or what happened," spokesman Rahul Roy said.

Microsoft said it has already urged its customers to immediately change their passwords and usernames if the same were being used for any other sites.

Three Hackers From Anonymous Arrested In Greece

Earlier this month Greece faced massive cyber attack from Anonymous and after investigation Greek police said they had arrested an 18-year-old suspected of hacking into the justice ministry's website. Also two other suspect aged 16 & 17 also being sought over the case.  In the February 2nd hackers from anonymous performed a cyber-attack on the Greek Ministry of Justice website, and warned of plans to target a further 300 ministry and media sites. The hack was apparently a protest against the Greek government's signing of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), which is designed to reduce Internet piracy. After that Greek police confirmed via twitter that they have started investigation and all the countermeasures have been taken. Indeed the output is in-front of us, 3 teenagers from Greece are behind the bar. The authority also said- The three youths have been linked to dozens of cyber attacks against Greek websites, using the alias Greek Hacking Scene and the nicknames "delirium", "nikpa" and "extasy". Authority also confirmed that these teens may have to face 1 year of imprisonment.

This the second time of this year when hackers from Anonymous get busted by police. In January a 22 year aged student arrested in south-western Poland for allegedly hacking the prime minister's website and local authority said that he was a part of Hactivist Anonymous.

Comic Con India 2012 : Bigger and Better

Last month I was reading newspaper and I came across this article which said Comic Con India will be held in Feb and its going bigger than ever and I was surprised to read that it was happening in India . But  I was happy also because I would get to go there and it was something totally new that was happening in the city, though it happened last year also.According to the news, as I wasn't able to attend it, it was bigger & better and concluded during the weekend at Dilli Haat, New Delhi. The scale of the expo grew exponentially compared to last years Comic Con India 2011 (New Delhi) and Comic Con Express 2011 (Mumbai).

It was a sight not usually visible in the capital city. An array of colors with visitors dressed as their favorite comic character, grabbing copies of latest releases of the comics & graphic novels and thronging the expo area buying merchandise to show their love for comics & art.
Continuing the success was the CosPlay, the costume contest with attendees dressed as Shikari Shambhu, Suppandi, Poison Ivy, Superman, Wonder Women, Freddy Krueger, Wolverine, Chhota Bheem, Power Ranger, Shan Yu (which also won a prize), Two-Face, Magdalena and many more.

About 25 book releases happened this year while over 50 stalls were put up at the expo area for comic books, publishing & designing softwares, graphic artists, and merchandise, among others. As per the estimates over 35,000 people visited the expo while the sales touched Rs. 5 million jumping from around 15,000 visitors and sales of Rs. 2.5 million last year.

Though the event still can't be compared to the scale of the Comic Conventions being held outside India yet, the endeavor received overwhelming response from the audience, comprising a mixed bag of all ages & professions.
